Bernadette Bullen is the director of Bullen Business Services and has over 25 years experience in the Professional Services sector where she has specialised in the Legal industry. Bernadette has extensive experience in Business & Financial Management as she has fulfilled roles as Practice Manager, Financial Controller, Systems Controller, which involved the implementation of practice management systems for legal offices. With Bernadette’s legal background, she is able to provide thorough training and ongoing support to clients as they develop and expand software and practices into their business.
Bernadette’s specialty is the backup and support for any problems that may occur and the smooth running of an office. She has had experience with Leap Legal, PCLAW, Xero, MYOB on a daily basis and understands the requirements of running an accounting package in a law firm. Her experience also extends to the implications of running a trust account with respect to the Trust Accounting regulations and audits has had regular interaction with the Law Society of South Australia.
Also over the past 15 years Bernadette has assisted many small/medium business operators within various industries in the setup of their accounting software to suit their business requirements. Bernadette has provided training, practice management, bookkeeping services, fulfilled the role as external and internal bookkeeper for these businesses. These roles have been of great success to the business owners as they then have time to utilise their skills elsewhere and work on growing and maximising their business to its full potential. This also gives business owners precious time back and peace of mind to know their accounting records are all to date. Business owners also enjoy receiving financial reports on a monthly basis so they can promptly track their business and cashflow needs and work with Bernadette and their accountant to ensure their business is meeting its goals and strategic plan.
